Working with our client and LBTH / HARCA, ESA have been commissioned to prepare a masterplan and design strategy to re-invigorate the Chrisp Street market estate and the all-important public realm.
Our masterplan starts and ends with major improvements to the public realm and the integration of new and reconditioned buildings.
Particularly to the northern portion of the site and the deep refurbishment of many of the tired buildings to the southern part of Chrisp Street around the retained IDEA store.
Our vision is to deliver a revitalised shopping centre to address the needs of local residents in a greatly improved physical environment.
We will seek to attract a range of new occupiers from the retail, restaurant and leisure sectors which, through increased footfall, will lead to higher turnover and higher job numbers on site.
