A new-build office and research HQ for BAE Systems on this landmark site in Frimley, Surrey. Our commission included the 100,000 sqft ‘Cat B’ interior fit-out for the occupier. 

 

The completed building includes research labs, a restaurant and a range of office/workplace environments designed to encourage new workplace methods of working within the business.

 

Accommodation is configured over three floors around a central atrium open to the office floors and the communal ground floor ‘street’ off which the laboratories are found. 

 

The architecture has a carefully articulated and modular glass and steel façade and a strong linear design to respond to its mature landscape setting.  

 

The building’s interior design responds to both the current working patterns and the predictions for future work practice within the company.
