A new-build 14,000 sq m HQ office building in south London for the international energy infrastructure business Subsea 7. This new workplace will allow their business to grow whilst remaining in a town that has been home to the company for many years.

 

Our brief from the client required high quality, contemporary and flexible office space, extensive breakout areas, presentation suites, training rooms, a kitchen & restaurant to accommodate over 700 staff on-site together with designated office space for their key collaborative partners. In short the building will allow the continued successful delivery of a wide range of global projects from the UK.

 

ESA has developed a design that provides a dynamic and exciting workplace environment for staff and guests within a building that will fully contribute to ongoing town centre regeneration.

 

A BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’ has been achieved with environmental measures that include PV cells, green and living roofs, extensive lighting and energy reduction measures.

 

The design team included engineers Price + Myers, service engineers Hoare Lea and planning consultants Vail Williams.
