ESA architecture and planning have recently secured planning consent for a refurbished and part new-build office building on Southwark Street for Moorevale / Rockspring. The existing 5-storey building has an interesting structural facade and a dramatic 50M long frontage to the street. ESA's proposals include adding two new floors that increase the floor area to around 6,600 sq m. The environmental servicing strategy for the building includes the incorporation of a biomass boiler and is achieving a BREEAM rating at planning stage of "Very Good".
