ESA have been shortlisted in this limited competition to design 30 new residential units and ground floor commercial space on Toynbee Street in Tower Hamlets. The proposal is to replace an under-used low rise parade of 'lock-up' shop units and will provide much needed street activity as well as, of course, new housing and improved retail along the 80metre frontage.
