An indicative masterplan for the town centre of Edgware, including the redevelopment of the existing Broadwalk Shopping Centre to provide an additional 20,000 sq m of retail accommodation at ground and first floor level trading from a new mall and a new multistorey car park situated above the new retail space. Above the car parking levels a new landscaped podium deck will be created, with 850 residential units constructed in two towers and a central link block. The existing Sainsbury’s store will be extended by 3,000 sq m at ground floor level to create a new superstore trading from the mall and car park area.
