A Grade I listed building designed and built between 1769-1771 by Robert and John Adam. The georgian building is of significant heritage importance but was in serious risk of being lost due to neglect. Without the restoration, the major architectural features of the building would have been destroyed. Where possible we reinstated the original Adam interiors but also introduced modern facilities for the current tenant's use. Detailed research was undertaken to identify the historic development of room layouts and decorative schemes throughout the building. Our restoration of Chandos House gained a RIBA Conservation Award in 2007.
