Rob joined ESA in 1965, became a Director in 1987 and Managing Director of ESA Northern in 1992. He is experienced in many building sectors including commercial, retail, education, industrial and leisure, with a particular interest in healthcare and research & development.

Rob has considerable expertise in feasibility studies, space planning, technical construction design, specification, building contract and practice administration. He is currently involved in many hospital projects, particularly the Hull & East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, involving a variety of facilities from patient care at the point of delivery to facilities for administration, diagnosis, pathology, rehabilitation and outpatient care.
