David joined ESA in 1980 and has served as Design Director since 1985. He has considerable experience in project development in the residential, retail, office and leisure sectors, particularly where sensitive planning situations prevail.

He has extensive experience with mixed use schemes and the regeneration of town centre sites, combining design flair with the needs of operators.  David is currently fronting ESA's Poland office and is working with clients such as Hollybrook and ING on retail and residential projects across the country.

His knowledge covers remodelling, refurbishment and the extension of existing buildings ranging from large shopping centres to sensitive listed buildings. A recent example of which is the refurbishment of Chandos House, a Grade I listed building.
